Availability for the US open synchrotron beam lines

All US beam lines with access entirely controlled by competition based on scientific merit, "open beam lines", can obtain a license for developmental version of the HKL package or HKL-2000, free of any license charges, on the basis of scientific collaboration with the program authors. 

HKL Research, Inc. role is limited to:

• providing and updating an access key file, cr_info, for the computers at the beamline

HKL Research will provide a temporary, free of charge license for the non-commercial users of these facilities, who need to re/process collected data at home.
