Upgrades for the Academic Users

All US academic non-profit users, who acquired a license to use the HKL program package in the past, may receive an upgrade to the current version, free of any charges.
The policy of free upgrades also applies to the foreign NIH researchers.

A program upgrade received by a licensed user is permanent.

Users, who already have acquired a permanent HKL license for versions 1.6.0 - 1.9.1 and would like to upgrade to the current version, need to submit an acceptance of license conditions for the new version. It's a free upgrade. A license agreement can be downloaded as pdf file. The license agreement should be executed in two copies and sent to:

Users of earlier versions of the HKL program have to verify their license by contacting hkl@hkl-xray.com.

Improvements and additions to the HKL suite occur frequently and new versions are available via FTP. The current version as well as earlier versions can be downloaded from our server.

Documentation of the program has been periodically improved and expanded. The latest version of the HKL Manual (Edition 5) may be ordered directly from HKL Research, Inc. Free upgrade does not include the manual.
