A temporary (6 months) license for the HKL-3000 software can be obtained free of charge by a current student at an academic institution. The license is intended for educational purposes, primarily to process data collected at synchrotron beamlines. The license will only be valid for data collected at facilities, where HKL-3000 or HKL-2000 is available to users.
If the institution has acquired a license for its own X-ray facility, the student may be granted an extension of the license to process data collected on the home system. The license will allow installation on one personal computer.
An application for the license should be submitted by the student’s mentor and include the name and contact details of the Principal Investigator. It should be signed by the Principal Investigator and e-mailed to support@hkl-xray.com.
